Blacklist

Is there a credit Blacklist?

About the mythical Credit Blacklist
It might seem that a blacklist is there - indeed to some it seems very real indeed but a blacklist just does not exist in the UK. There is no list of people who are singled out to be excluded from being granted credit. Although it can feel frustrating it is usually a simple case of repairing your credit file to restore your credit standing.

Credit file: Scoring
Bad credit history is often considered by a large section of the population to be a form of a blacklist in itself. It can prevent you from getting mortgages, loans and all types of credit. In general it is better not to be worried that you are being victimised or unfairly treated, but just to work on some small adjustments to tip the balance in your favor.
